The way we do it here is that one person does their work on one side, covers it save a 3 cm strip visible, then sends it through the general post. (snail mail) the other person finishes the image based on the tiny strip, scans it at 300 dpi to send to their partner, then makes it 72 dpi for viewing on the web.


No previews of the strip that the other person will work from, no previews in scraps no previews in any form other than just what the recipient sees when they open the envelope or email (for digital corpses only).  The general public or EC community is not allowed to see that strip!

Please submit a collaboration for review. keep in mind this is an advanced skill level group. You are encouraged to do your very best. For drawn work, you must have an advanced ability to make images look three dimensional.

Hello there all of you collaborators
In the EC we don't allow previews of the strips that you are sending to your partner.

I don't know why people all of a sudden are doing this, possibly it could be a hick-up from the collaborative corpse group who allow "open collaborations".
